01 September 2010 Mummy to 2 gorgeous girls My 2 year absolutely love you Mr Tumble, she is completely mesmerised by your shows and sits and watches you with utter fascination! We do not hear a peep out of her while she is watching you. I think you have an amazing talent and what you do is truly remarkable. Through your programme both by girls (my eldest is 8) have learnt some sign language so thank you. I think it is important for children to recognise and understand all disabilities and through 'Something Special' you have made this possible and are continuing to do so, so well done. |
29 August 2010 Eva's Mummy Hi there, Just wanted to say a big thank you for entertaining my daughter Eva, she LOVES Mr Tumble and asks to watch him All the time on TV, she has learnt so many words, even learnt how to say Bless you when we sneeze. She loves Aunt Polly too and loves to tell us that Mr Tumble is Funny! - She is only 16 months old! We have printed her pictures off Cbeebies website and would love to buy her a Mr Tumble doll and Spotty bag, the dolls are going for ridiculous money on Ebay and haven't managed to nab one yet but will keep trying, hope you can produce some more official merchandise soon!  Hi Justin, you are our saviour! Something Special is on in our house every day (most of the day). One of my sons George (age 4) has downs and he absolutely loves Mr Tumble, he uses Makaton as his main form of communication and Something Special has helped us all so much. He usually requests which episode he wants - i think we've got nearly all of them recorded now. Our youngest son who is only 16 months is also a big fan and will ask for 'bubboo' and gets very excited when the opening song starts. We had the pleasure of seeing you last weekend at Bridgnorth Party in the Park and were even lucky enough to get a photo with you, (sorry for 'stalking' you but desperate for a photo for George) . We also bought him one of your Nursery Rhyme dvd's which is a huge hit too -wish I'd got them both now! I hope you realise just how fantastic you are and what a huge difference you are making to children like George. There isn;t much that will hold his attention for long but you seem to have a 'special gift' - he just loves you and never gets bored watching you. It gives me so much joy to see him standing up joining in with all the songs, signing away, its great. Keep up the fantastic work that you do Justin, you're the best. 25 August 2010 two-twin-girls ! WOW. Justin brings something too childrens television that I for one certainly missed out on. With two 18month twins it's hard too teach them and get them interested in learning, But Something Special has taught them so so much; whether it be saying hello to always remembering perfect manners. Justin Fletcher is an amazing being, whose work should never be tarnished- because he delivers to those who thrive on happiness and fun. Well done ! Bravo |

Hi Justin, many thanks for all your continued work, our son who has DS loves something special and has learnt so much. We have purchased most of the DVD's and it is a delight to see and hear him when they are on, he gets so excited!! We have also been purchasing the CBeebies mag, although there seems to be very little Mr Tumble in them? I understand that there has been a 'special' magazine, is this still available?? Also would be great to know how we can meet with you/Mr T, always difficult when children with difficulties require more time to adjust to surroundings etc. Many thanks for the joy you have given my son and many others. Justin and his team just wanted to say thanks, my daughter who will be 2 in a couple of weeks is absolutely mad on Mr Tumble. Every second of every day she wants to watch it and we have to tell her Mr Tumble has gone to sleep of an evening otherwise we would never get the chance to watch any of our programmes. |

My little boy charlie os 3 and half and also makes the tumble sign as he wont eat with out mr tumble being one the televison.
If ther is any merchandise that we can buy that are not DVDs as we have all already we woudl buy them up.

Hello Justin I have a 2yr old daughter who does not have a disability however my 5yr old brother Ethan has Down's Syndrome and through Something Special my daughter is learning to communicate with my brother via sign language. Both my daughter & brother love to sit and watch Something Special as they are actually doing right now and i feel it brings them closer together. Thanks again for the wonderful show. hi my son was born deaf he is now 18 months old he also has cerebal palsy we have started learning bsl i know the show is makaton but would love to learn more nursery rhmes from mr tumble so my son and i will be able to learn them hope you can help many thanks |

Hello Justin, My family and myself wanted to say that you are an insperation and an asset to the world. Children with or without disabilities/learning dificulties absolutley adore you and everything you do. Not forgetting us adults. I have 2 children. My daughter is 4 and has signed from 9 months old because of your programme, Something Special. She hasn't got a disability or learning difficultiy but it took away frustration when she wasn't talking as a baby. My son is 2 and has just been diagnosed with Autisim Spectrum Disorder. He doesn't talk yet and the Makaton has also helped him too. Without your wonderful programmes my children may not have been able to communicate with each other or to us. Please keep up the fantastic work you do. You put a smile on so many faces and help so may families. Many thanks for all you do Kate and family |
Hello Justin & Mr Tumble
My 22 month old daughter absolutly loves you. As soons as she wakes up she asks for Mr Tumble on. She's love joining in singing to the theme song. She gets so excited bless her. She's adorable to watch when she puts her hand over her mouth and shout's for mr tumble and when he appear's her face is a picture! That's thanks to you as a great childrens entertainer and something special. We did a baby sign course using Makaton from her being 6 months but she has learned so much more from watching you. Keep up the good work and I totally agree with a previous email that Makaton should be learnt in all schools.
We would love to see you live too! Do you have any plans to appear live near South Shields or anywhere in the North East? If anyone know's please let me know..thanks!
Also I have bought a couple of DVD's for my daughter and I managed to get hold of the little Mr Tumble doll that was free with the something special magazine, which is great and she loves it but I would love to buy her a bigger Mr Tumble as she adore's him. Im sure there are lots of parent's that would agree it would be great! So if there are ever any Mr Tumble dolls on sale I will be first in line...

Hello Mr Tumble and Justin, Hope you are well! Our names are Olivia, 3 Daisy 2 (on Sunday the 18th) and Verity 22 weeks, Mummy (Lou) 28 and Daddy (Adam) and we all think you are brilliant. Our mummy wanted to say thank you! I (Olivia) now know different signs and you've helped my sister Daisy to talk she says Tubble whenevr your music comes on and we dance round the living room for ages. We also give my mummy and daddy some peace when you are on as we sit and watch you quietly. Please bring out more new shows. My daddy also has started a sign language course which starts in September and he is going to retrain to work with deaf and disabled people so thank you from the Warren family. I have a severely disabled daughter of 12 years. She really loves all the Something Specials and especially the new DVD. I wish there was more of them as she watches them over and over again. Well Done Mr Tumble, more DVDs please. |
